The Living Gallery: Sculpting the Landscape

At Fieldstone Nursery, we believe a garden is more than a collection of plants—it is a three-dimensional canvas. Our garden art collection is born from the intersection of horticultural expertise and a deep-rooted passion for fine art.

The vision behind our sculptures is driven by founders Mark and Maripat, whose backgrounds as fine artists and alumni of the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) inform every piece we create. Their education in classical form, composition, and material study allows them to translate the raw elements of nature into sophisticated, large-scale focal points.

Our Signature Mediums

Fieldstone Obelisks

Reflecting the name of our nursery, our large-scale stone sculptures are hand-built using locally sourced fieldstone. These natural obelisks serve as ancient-inspired anchors for the garden.

Kinetic & Dynamic Art

For those looking to capture the invisible energy of the garden, we offer wind-driven kinetic pieces. These sculptures are designed to react to the slightest breeze, providing a graceful, ever-changing dance of light and metal that contrasts beautifully against the stillness of the trees.

Custom & Made-to-Order

Because no two landscapes are the same, most of our large-scale pieces are custom-designed. We work directly with homeowners to create artful pieces that fit the specific scale and “vibe” of their garden. Whether you desire a singular, towering stone monolith or a series of rhythmic kinetic sculptures, we bring a designer’s eye to the implementation.

Illumination: Art After Dark

To truly integrate art into your living space, it must be seen. We offer professional garden and sculpture lighting to ensure your investment doesn’t disappear when the sun goes down.
