What You’ll Be Doing

• Customer Service: Assist in installing plants, flowers, shrubs, mulch, sod, and stone to create “curb appeal” for our clients.
• The “Heavy Lifting”: Work with materials such as soil, stone, and nursery stock. You’ll definitely get your steps in!
• Detail Work: Ensure job sites are left cleaner than we found them, providing that “wow” factor for the homeowner.

About the Role

Fieldstone Nursery Inc. is a family-owned and operated nursery and landscaping company dedicated to enhancing the beauty of our community. We are looking for a Landscape Foreman who takes pride in their work, enjoys the outdoors, and leads by example.

As a Foreman, you will be the “boots on the ground” leader. You’ll be responsible for interacting with customers, following landscape design plans, managing daily plant inventory and landscape equipment tasks, and ensuring our customers receive the professional service we’re known for. Prior nursery and/or landscaping work experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates who have the right attitude and a desire to grow into a leadership role.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the Crew: Oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to our high standards.
• Customer Excellence: Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners on-site; answer questions with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Hands-on Work: Perform all aspects of landscaping, including planting, mulching, hardscaping, pruning, and general property maintenance for contracted work.
• Equipment Care: Safely operate and maintain trucks, trailers, and landscaping machinery.

Requirements & Physical Demands

• The “Dirty” Work: You must love working outdoors in various weather conditions. You will get dirty, and you will work hard—but the results are worth it!
• Physical Strength: Ability to consistently lift and move heavy objects (50+ lbs), such as stone, mulch bags, and heavy nursery stock.
• Communication: Strong verbal communication skills for both the team and our clients.
• Reliability: Dependable transportation to the nursery or job-sites.
